The food in Le Volte was amazing. We ordered the famous Florentine steak and it did not disappoint. But as the reviews said, the steak was more on the lean side of meat, so it's better to have it cooked rare or medium rare. They also give you a hot plate in case you prefer to cook the steak a bit more after it is served. The staff were also very friendly. We ordered only a glass of wine but one of the staff kindly gave us the bit of the remaining wine in the bottle. Everything was good. My advise is to really have a reservation because the restaurant gets full, even on weekdays.
We celebrated our anniversary here and the food did not disappoint. The staff suggested serving the Florentine steak on top of a sizzling plate since we are not much fans of rare steaks and it turn out great since we were able to adjust the searing to our liking. They are also very generous with the wine serving. A very memorable and delightful dinner experience.
Best meals we had on our entire honeymoon in Italy. They are also the friendliest people, and we loved it here so much that we came back a second time a few days later. Grazie mille for creating such amazing experiences for us!!
A nice pasta place in Florence. Busy atmosphere. Great selection of wine at decent price. The food was mixed but the truffle pasta was close to amazing.

My wife and I visited as part of our honeymoon in August 2023. We were inspired by the family story and the cute Tuscan vibe.
Naturally, we split the Bistecca alla Fiorentina and I have spent the last 5 months raving about it to family and friends. The Bistecca was shown to us before the meal and was then cooked to absolute perfection (and it comes on a hot plate if you like it more on the well done side). We ordered sides of potatoes and vegetables and even the sides were excellent.
The staff were amazing, and very attentive. They recommended excellent local wine pairings and even said where in the region those wineries are.
Florence was a dream and this experience was the icing on the cake. If you’re visiting for one day, one week or one month make le Volte a part of your visit. You won’t regret it.

Amazing experience at this small cosy restaurant away from the tourist centre. Every dish we tried from starters to the Florentine steak to dessert was absolutely delicious! Menu is varied and a twist from the typical Tuscan fare. Service was oh so friendly and warm and also very accommodating with children. Perfect meal to end our trip. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Nice steak . We ordered 1.1 kg for 4 and a burger.The gnocchi was good. Tiramisu is so so.
